fair price?

I know it is all subject to supply and demand.

I will need to replace the doors on my 1971 pickup and was looking to see what is a fair price i should be paying for used rust free doors. Im thinking original sheet metal is way to go vs. aftermarket.

so far (sight unseen) is ranging from 275 for a pair to 400.

(not looking to sell ..just on a budget and looking to see what i will expect to pay)

Re: fair price?

I believe you're in the ballpark. depends if just the shell or all the guts/windows/tracks, etc included. Might talk to member t.korinek. Tom has some nice rust free stuff for sure and has helped me out a time or two with great parts.

Re: fair price?

Youre in the range. I paid (a year ago) $350 for a pair of Az. --nearly perfect doors.
(there are no "perfect" used doors), but there is a lot of Junk being sold as "nearly perfect". TKorinek is indeed a good sourcefor good parts.

Re: fair price?

I've got two really nice doors, but man, shipping would kill ya! If you're interested shoot me a PM. Plus, you never go wrong using factory metal. It took me a LOOONG time to find my parts, but it was worth the effort, plus I met some really nice people along the way!

I have a pair of doors that you are more than welcome to take a look at. Im just over the river from you and should be around all weekend. The doors don't have any rust that I remember and wouldn't need hardly any work to make them great doors for you. You are more than welcome to come over and take a look at them and I would give you a more than fair price.

Yep! I have a few pictures, I'll dig them up and send them to you in a PM later today. I'm in Fayette, about 40 miles north of Tuscaloosa.
