Name That Bolt!
Does anyone know what these are called? If I knew what folks call 'um, I might be able to search 'um out!
I've tried searching online for studs, should bolts, wing bolts, double bolts, etc, etc! I need a couple of 3/8 x 3/8 for mounting my AC bracket on the intake to keep from disturbing the threads in the head when I pull the valve cover. (it won't clear the bracket without tearing the gasket off!) ! Thanks in advance!

Bolt ...of lightning... I dont know, I give up!!
If your looking for some.... they look like bolts you would find as fasteners used on mid sixties pontiac thernostadts housings or the passenger side front two bolts on late sixties pontiacs intakes that hold an AC bracket... I have also seen them as fasteners that hold the bell housing to the rear of the engine block on small block chevy/powergride combos in 67 Impala's. |

Bummer is that so many young kids pull the intake off and AC to put a performer intake and carb and headers, and these disappear ...

They look like the bolts from a power steering pulley removal kit.

I think the GM part is available still. I have a NOS one in one of my parts boxes. I think I looked it up one day(not long ago) and it was still available. I saw this thread this morning and meant to pull it out and look today. I'll look tomorrow and post a picture and part number.

Here is a link to someone selling the stud I have. Apparently it for manifold to head. I used it on a 1971 with a 350 and AC.
