69 C20 Rack and Pinnion, Rear sway bar?

Hey guys, I plan making my 69 C20 a street machine. Being that i just built a killer 383 stroker, and have a Nash 5 speed and Dana 60 being put together, i have the power, but not the handling. I'm getting rid of the heavy duty suspension, and i would also like to get rid of the conventional steering. I was wondering if anyone has done rack and pinion swap on a C20 before? And what i will run into if i do. I want to lower the truck 3" in the front and 4" in the back, using a kit with drop spindles and also doing 4 wheel disc brakes. Also would like to add a rear sway bar. I plan on keeping the frame stock and just re-enforcing certain parts where needed. Any input appreciated.
