Question 72 Chevy C10 Floor Recommendations Wanted

I'm new here and have enjoyed learning from the many sage folk on this forum. I have what some folks would call, a bit of a rust problem on the floor of the 72 C10.

I tried to search for "cab floor" and couldn't find anything other than craigslist & reference to there being other places to buy them than LMC Truck. Being new to this rebuild idea, where else do you recommend to look for a full floor?

Pics of the floor issues & supports can be found on this thread.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Shipping comes to mind with a large part like this. So the closer the better for who you buy from. Any parts dealer who sells replacement sheet metal can sell you one. We have a vendors list on the first page table of contents. Check there and start contacting them.

Thanks gents. I checked rockauto and with shipping it'll cost more than from LMC. I'll go reach out to the vendor page and see if I can find working links.

Thanks

Mine will come from Classicheartbeat.com or GMCPauls.com. No way it will come from LMC. The cost of the freight is the price you pay. Sheet metal can be oversize and heavy so the freight cost is high. A vendor cannot lose money on freight if they are going to stay in business.

See if there are any dealers that go to local swap meets. Southern Kentucky Classics will do this. If they are going to be setup at a local show you can call them and they will throw one on the truck. I will either do that or drive 1:45 to their shop and pick one up.

Thanks Rocket & SlowCPE for the input. I ended up shopping a few places and ended up ordering from Classic Industries, they had a 25% off deal. Fingers crossed & time to learn some welding.
