Bad68bowtie, I founded a "young Guns" club on the forum for people like ourselves. Join up =D. Your truck will move along. Luckilly had a lot of financial help from my dad on the project (not all, but its been a huge help). When you can retire it as a DD you can begin the real work. Progess has been very slow as my truck is still back at home while I am away at school, but I have all of the parts I need for my hydroboost swap and I finally found a set of the propper towers from a board member. I decided that I want to have the stock setup rather than some jimmy-rigged fab job purely for aesthetics. I'll definately have a time slip up by this summer. Then comes the rear suspension conversion....

Wow, awesome truck man, I'm 16 and working on a highschool budget lol. Just got my truck not to long ago and am about to start on an engine rebuild soon, gonna be my first. It's gonna be the 400 my dad has sitting in his parts 442. Luckily for me theres one other person at my school that's into building old trucks so I'm not the only one.

Nice truck! Yes you should try harder to get your GF to let you take a pic of her in a bikini and post it.
How's ASU treating you? I graduated in 2005 from their business college. My '68 longbed got me there everyday from Mesa. I ran out of gas one time on the 202 and another time I came back from PM classes to lot 59 and had a flat tire. Other than that never let me down. But then again running out of gas was my fault, and flat tires shouldn't count. |

i love it my fist truck was my blazer and still own her had lots of girlfriends but still own her im 35 and have owned the blazer since i was 15

nice thread and good looking truck. another youngster present. and in the same boat you are. currently doing a BBC conversion but im retiring my daily to become a full track truck being that i recently acquired another 67 to make my daily.

Quick question, how well does/did your truck hook up with the leaf springs? Did you bolt on anything to help with traction besides slicks? Thanks, Jared
