I am going to install LMC's Daytime Running Light kit (DRL) ,PN 36-3590, this weekend.

I find that fewer vehicles pull out in front of me when I run my lights. I also find my battery dead after forgetting my lights on

I think I've figured out how to hook it up but thought I would ask if anyone else has done this install and how they did it. I've searched the old threads but have not found anything.

I'll try to take some photos of the connections as I go if anyone is interested.

As you already have the LMC kit, please post some pictures when complete. Looks interesting.

I also drive with my low beams on during the day but run at full voltage. If you want to prevent draining your battery, headlight reminder buzzer kits used to be available at most parts stores or JC Whitney. I have used several, they work great.

You can make your own with these simple instructions.

It runs full voltage to the lights.

It is just a relay, the proper connector for the relay, some wires and instructions.
They have the connector that plugs into the relay, but it could be done with female crimp on connectors.

I will take photos and put the relay part number up when I post the install.
You could probably buy the parts for about $10. The kit was $20

The alarm kit was cheaper but I forget to turn lights on until someone has pulled out in front of my all drum brake truck.

Ken, I was on the LMC site yesterday and couldnt find the drl's. Are they listed for a certain year and model?

It's in the 1960-1966 online catalog. Page 123 PN 36-3590 for $25. I thought it was $20.

I was hoping to do the install today but I will need to leave here at about noon and won't be back until after dark. I should be installing it Monday.
