CHR radiator
Has anybody bought one of these radiators for their truck. I found them on E bay and the price looks good.

Re: CHR radiator
From the pictures it is hard to tell, but all "3 row" rads are not the same. Some on E-bay have 3 skinny rows instead of 3 fat rows.
A Visteon (Ford) 2 row rad is almost as wide as my 4 row copper rad. That is 2 very fat rows. NASCAR like Visteon cores very well (C&R). I would want to see a picture of the end sheet of the core before that tanks are welded on.

Re: CHR radiator
It's probably the champion radiator.. And if so, I bought the kit with the dual electric fana and shroud. It's been cooling my 6-71 blown small block cruising in socal heat..

Re: CHR radiator
OK, I got the old one out and put all the fittings on the new one. Made new aluminum brackets for the dual fans and mounted the radiator back in the truck. Fits good and is all plumbed except for the upper hose. I need a new one the old one is to small for the top radiator mount.
Decided it wasn't worth polishing it up since it will mostly be covered up with the mount. I may go back and polish the top of it though later. Anyone have thoughts on upper hose? I may turn those top mount bolts around to. After looking at the pictures they need to be reversed to clean it up some.

Re: CHR radiator
Got the radiator all done and so far I'm very pleased. I drove over to a small cruise in tonight and ran the AC and it never got over 190*.

Re: CHR radiator
Don't know what you paid for that but the seller has it listed at $500+ now... same one sells for $125 elsewhere https://goo.gl/2vzdEE
Did you hook up your steam line to the rad?
