New Vintage Gauge LS swap 6.0
I need your help gentlemen. OK here is my problem I have a 1971 GMC 1500 and I did an LS swap to a 6.0 LQ9 from a Cadillac Escalade and now I am unable to get my aftermarket tack from LMC made by New Vintage Gauge Part # 38-8179 - GAUGE CLUSTER to work. I can get a signal, but it only reads as a 4 cylinder engine? Not sure where to go with this now?

Also you'll have to change the tach resolution from 6 to 3 in the tune to make it read correctly since LS motors use a 4 cylinder signal, otherwise it will read half of what it's running (on a V8 tach). Other than that, just hook up the ignition wire like it was originally and hook the signal wire, the one that went to the coil, to the tach output out of the PCM, generally a white wire at C2 10, but that may depend on year and application. LockDoc

We still cant get LMC 38-7991 to work call them to see who makes them and they tell me they don't know
