1949 frame

I am sure this question has been asked, what is the frame length of a 1949 3100 Chevy truck?

Re: 1949 frame

It is very hard to see, but I am going to say 196 and what looks like 3/8", but am pretty sure on the 196" part.

Re: 1949 frame

You can click on the + at the top middle of the PFD and expand it to read it easier

The 51 edition is easier to read as it is in a different print. The actual measurements are the same as the big difference is tube shocks rather than lever shocks.

https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/doc...olet-Truck.pdf

There are a few blank pages at the top. They scanned every year of AD trucks and the info is the exact factory info.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: 1949 frame

This is the link to my photobucket album that I saved the pages out of the Assembly manual that have the frame measuements. http://s173.photobucket.com/user/mr4...?sort=4&page=1

Some are better than others and I suggest saving the one you need to your computer and then expanding the photo to better read the numbers.
