Re: Help ID this truck...

Looks like a 64 by the fender badges. Definitely a 64-66 design though. Looks to be a base model truck 230/3speed column shift.

You'll find the cab vin # inside the door pillar when you open the door. There is a # stamped into the top of the frame rail over the upper a-arm and another under the cab.

Correction: 230 not 250 engine!!

Yeah I agree. Its a 64. 230 IL6
The vin will be above your head on the cab in the door jam. Mine is a 65 and was there.

Just built a home on 30 acres of my wifes family land and the truck came with! lol

Now I have to figure how to get the damm thing out...parked behind a fallen barn getting eaten by the woods.

Re: Help ID this truck...

Also, I have a Dodge pilot cab deeper in the woods. I think its a '49 but who knows really.

Know anything about vintage dodge trucks?

Re: Help ID this truck...

The old Dodge Power wagons were tough trucks. Just start removing brush until you hit truck. Nice that the ignition key is still there

Re: Help ID this truck...

We use a big weedeater with a 10" blade on it for clearing brush like that and small trees to make trails. Work work good for getting to the trucks. You just need to watch for the trees falling on you as you go. Have been hit by a few. No telling what was in the old barn.
