Thanks for the complement. I had previously been into the 88-98 body style. I probably had 10 different trucks, Tahoes, and Suburbans. I just got it in my head one day, I wanted an older lwb, and this is what happened.

Something about the picture w the ralleys, looks lower or tires tucked better, kind of mean and stealthy at the same time..

Yes, mudman, the "rallys" were all 15x6 stock steel spares, with 235/75r15s. The new wheels are 17x8 with 265/60r17s. The 17s are an inch taller and 2 inches wider. I was kinda diggin the stock look until I saw how my paint job on the 17s turned out.

Love the wheel choice. What does your drop consist of?

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Long Beds Part II

gearhead, right now it is a 4/6 drop. I did a flip and removed bump stops in the rear, and cut 2 coils in the front. Front bottoms out on everything. I am about to install 2.5" drop shackles and cut 1 coil from a set of new coils that I bought from Summit when they had them for $8. The wheels I bought from a guy that had them on a jeep. Bought 5 of them for $60. Painted them myself with Rustoleum to match. Rustoleum sand and almond are a pretty close match to Buckskin and Santa Fe tan. Tires are 265/60-17.
