SWB Box assembly help needed.

I Just bought the cross sills and tubs. I am going to buy a new heardoard tommorow. I bought 4 big cross sills and one wimpy looking short in hight cross sill. and the big on for the back of the box.

How does it go together ?

Do I need to weld th e rear cross sill to the box sides ?

It's a wood floor.

Thanks,

I would bolt the bed front on and then weld the rear cross sill to bedsides. You will need the wood to finish the assembly. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I've taken plenty of those apart but never put a wood box back together........Yet. As I recall the wimpy one is just in front or near the front of the wheel tubs. The rear will bolt in but needs 4 tack welds two on each side once it's in and adjusted with a tailgate and checked for width. The arrangement of the parts is pretty much the same as a steel floor box.
