My 72 K5 LS Swap

I picked up my 72 Blazer and a 72 C10 back in November in trade for some transmission work on a pickup. Previous owner already had the interior redone. Didn't have to mess with any of that. Had previously bought a 2001 Tahoe at auction for $600. Figured it would be a great donor. Anyway the Blazer is up and running with a few things that still need some attention. Here are some photos and info on it.

Nice... sounds like my build almost exactly... even the same headers... you have more pics of the battery mount?

The mount has several holes to use to bolt it down. I used a piece of angle iron and ground a moon into it to contour to the fender. Sort of a pain to get in and out but I think it looks cool and a solid hold down.

Re: My 72 K5 LS Swap

I plan on doing this to my 72 towards the end of the year. Still trying to decide to go with and LQ9 or LS2. What transmission are you running?

Don't rule out the LM7, especially with the price of fuel going up.
