Raise drivers seat

I have the stock seats on an 1972 GMC Jimmy. With no tilt wheel and only being 5’ 9”. I was hoping to find a way to raise my seat 1” to 2”. Any ideas would be much appreciated it.

1x2 steel, a drill, and longer screws. make it happen.
