Nice truck, I like self fab parts to but when the time way outways the cost I'll buy it, I had my own fab shop for a couple years sometimes its better to buy expecially in the situation of a conversion to c4 parts, the time in measuring, and there tools are far superior to anything someones going to have in there garage

I can't remember the backsapacing off the top of my head, I think it is 4.75" or 5.25" on a 20x8.

If you look on evilbay you will find that isn't a bad deal. Maybe not the greatest deal but not the worst either. For example. Each control arm and spindel is about $100 each so that is roughly $600 right there. Then if you add the brakes (if the are in decent condition which would be around 300-400 for new) rack and pinion which i believe is around $300 for a referbished one.

So what are you doing with C5 front suspension if you do buy it? Anyways hope i helped.

Josh

Re: Dropmember C4

Where's it at? Can you go pick it up, or do you have to have it shipped? Shipping needs to be factored in the total cost since it has gone up a LOT lately.

Re: Dropmember C4

Parts look to be in good shape. Is it a business that will guarantee the quality of the parts? I have had several (3-4) complete fronts shipped that had bent or damaged components once arriving. It was great to have a reputable place that "made it right". The engine cradle can be sold to get some of the cost back.

I agree with the engine cradle. I paid about $400 for the engine cradle. Yes i know that was a little high but i was wanting to start my project. The funniest part about that is at the time the cheapest ones were around $400 on ebay but right after i bought it a bunch came on for $100-200. Go figure.
