I thought you guys would get a kick out of this. I ran across it in a paper copy of Jun 65 Popular Science, and looked it up to see if it was on the web and found it. Suddenly pickup trucks are IN

I guess pickups gradually started being "in" in the '50s when fancier styling started to cater to beyond work vehicle. By '65 is when the pickup market showed the widened use, especially as camper hauler/second vehicles. The magazine shows a plain Jane work truck when they should have shown a Custom BBW 2-tone with narrow whitewalls and chrome
