Re: Need pics 60-66 (slammed not bagged)

Front 3 inch drop springs and 3 inch DJM drop lower control arms, Rear Jeep TJ springs, no blocks no C notch. Wheels are Ridler 18x8 0 offset tires 255-55-18 Goodyear LS2.
Front is about as low as you can go without inner fender mods, I can't put my fist between the top of the tire and the inner fender. Rear is very soft with the Jeep springs, too soft really, there's about 2 1/2 inches before the snubbers hit.

The tires are 235/75/16
Can you post up a pic of those blocks for me? Curious as to how they are supposed to sit and how to asjust the pinion angle. Thanks.

A bone-stock 350 and 700R4... I also have a 5.7L TPI from a Firebird and I am planning to swap them out in a few weeks. I just need to sell off the carbed 350 motor and trans to pay for the swap.

Re: Need pics 60-66 (slammed not bagged)

Doesn't show the drop too well, but it is the most recent picture I have of her. Taken last weekend after a big local show. One of my club members wanted to visit her father's grave site, so the whole club cruised with her (just in case someone gets to wondering about the cemetary pics). Drop is 5" springs in the rear, and 3" spring up front with one coil cut and bumstops/steer stops removed from control arms. She rides awesome with the help of some Bell Tech nitro drop shocks, but the rear slaps the factory bumpstops when I hit any decent bump. Next step is 2.5" spindles up front, and 2" blocks and a c-notch kit in the rear (probably with shock relocaters, and adjustable track bar too). Then she'll be good for a while.

1Bad, They're AR Torq-Thrust II's. Got them on e-bay. Was the first thing I did to the truck. Although my taste has changed a little since I bought them, I think they're a classic look that you really cant go wrong with.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. The tires are 225/55r16 front and 255/50r16 rear. 8" wheels in front and 10" in back. I'll try to put some more pics up in the next couple of days.

Re: Need pics 60-66 (slammed not bagged)

My 66 gmc is a hybrid, had rear coils I stuck some 8" bags where the springs were so I did not have to fight the stance battle, up front 255/60/r17 tires, 17 x 9 Cragar wheels, 2.5" drop spindles, with 6 cylinder stock front coils, I am going to change the front tires next to drop it a little more......in the front and I can then adjust the rear to see how it looks. Kieth

in the rear 265/70/r 17 9" cragars, the front of my truck has a burb front crossmember, that plus the 2.5" drop spindles sure made the wheels close to the fender well up front......the tire size change up front will make it have a little more clearance. when turning.....Kieth

2.5" drop spindles:
http://kieth.smugmug.com/Trucks/66-G..._9qGFfrc-X2-LB

Next step will be air ride up front and a c notch in the rear, will change the rear bags to 7" instead of 8" to improve the ride and use the 8" bags on the front to handle the weight.

before with stock spindles:
