new suburban seats

Has anyone installed new suburban seats (07-11) in a burb? Wondering what modifications were required? the third row seats should fit perfectly for the 2nd and 3rd rows, what has anyone done for the first row to match the rear seats?

Re: new suburban seats

I have front buckets and second row seats out of a 99 suburban in a 72 burb.
For the front seats I used giant washers underneath and to level out the front buckets I used 1/2 square tube under the back and bolted it down the 2dn row seats I used washers to bring the back of the seats up so they leveled out. I used grade 8 bolts for mounting of course

Re: new suburban seats

Looks great Xman. Id like to use the same front seats in my '67. Did you use the seat belts out of the donor or are they aftermarket?

Re: new suburban seats

for the belts I just used the belts offered from LMC but I have heard you can use belts from the donor burb. I had these already in the burb so I didnt need the belts from the donor burb. Now I just need to figure out a center counsole for between the front seats not sure if I am going to fab one up or just use a donor one yet

Re: new suburban seats

I saw a posting on here where the guy used Tahoe buckets and console up front, then used the third row for both second and third. used the tahoe quick disconnects for those and it worked out great...
