Re: My Facetruck thread.

When Tim's hat arrives he will still have a need for it.

We are sending him more arctic weather.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

Speaking of arctic weather, found these at a yard sale the other day while visiting family out of town.

It pays to take a walk when you didn’t want to be there to begin with

Yes Tim, that joke is older than us.
It was at a bar the way I heard it and he bet the guys at the table over in the corner the bar tender would wipe the bar with a smile after he stood at one end while not missing a drop in the pitcher at the other end. So, new variety.

That would be nice to have for warming up a little. I went to the beer store yesterday and told the guy I needed to go stand in his walk-in cooler to warm up.

My hat day... I tell you, I never pay any attention to tracking. It gets here when it gets here and I have no control over anything while in shipment. I try to be more patient than people seem to be these days. So just for the fun of this thread I have been checking on this thing. Confirmed! What is the point of checking tracking? NONE! I would rather not know that since Saturday my hat has been in transit at the same location. I get it, that is where it landed as the holiday began and these people deserve time off. But it sat there all day till 10:30pm. All I know is it left after 3 1/2 days in one place. I would have rather not known that! Says it will be here today. We'll see. Oh the drama

I told my wife I was going to put the A/C unit back in the window and set it on 65 degrees. I told her even though we'd use a little electricity, we'd save some fuel.

BTW, if I had a choice of whizzing on a bar or an attorney's desk, I'd hate to mess up a bar!

Re: My Facetruck thread.

It wouldn't take a bet for me to on a few desks

I'm kind of bummed. Just got a letter from my mortgage company stating they palmed off my mortgage to another company. It's the biggest thing in my life I bust my butt for and to them it's just a thing to buy and sell. How will this outfit be? I went with Chase specifically to be with a major bank who services their own mortgages. My prior mortgage was sold off immediately to a crooked outfit, very scary experience, so we went through the expense and set-back of refinancing just a year later with one of the big pigs. I'll be so happy when I don't have a gall derned mortgage

Re: My Facetruck thread.

A father put his 3-year-old daughter to bed, told her a story and listened to her prayers which ended by saying, "God bless Mommy, God bless Daddy, God bless Grandma and goodbye Grandpa."

The father asked, 'Why did you say good-bye Grandpa?'

The little girl said, "I don't know daddy, it just seemed like the thing to do." .

The next day grandpa died.

The father thought it was a strange coincidence.

A few months later the father put the girl to bed and listened to her prayers, "God bless Mommy, God Bless Daddy and goodbye Grandma." The next day the grandmother died.

"Holy crap" thought the father, "this kid is in contact with the other side."

Several weeks later when the girl was going to bed the dad heard her say, "God bless Mommy and goodbye Daddy."

He practically went into shock. He couldn't sleep all night and got up at the crack of dawn to go to his office. He was nervous as a cat all day, had lunch and watched the clock. He figured if he could get by until midnight he would be okay. He felt safe in the office, so instead of going home at the end of the day he stayed there, drinking coffee, looking at his watch and jumping at every sound. Finally midnight arrived; he breathed a sigh of relief and went home.

When he got home his wife said, "I've never seen you work so late. What's the matter?" He said, "I don't want to talk about it, I just had the worst day of my life." She said, "You think you had a bad day? You'll never believe what happened to me. This morning the mailman dropped dead on our porch!"

Re: My Facetruck thread.

I'll read the joke later. My brand new calendar has "Hat Day" marked right on it! It finally left OH and is was reported to be in Hagerstown, MD. Our big transportation hub at I-70 & I-81 as of noon. That's about 40 minutes from here. They say by late today. I'd say...

Checked tracking, it's FedEx. Ahhh... it must have been in transit for Hagerstown at noon, cuz now it says 2:47 it arrived there. Then at 4:37 it arrived there again. I forget. I hope this was free shipping.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

We got 1/2" almost a week ago. It's been so cold that hung on for days longer than I've ever seen. What's coming tonight won't bring me much if any snow. This one hits the shoreline and leaves the hills alone.

I usually just order and it gets here when it gets here. It's funny that since I am tracking it as part of this thread it is turning into a slow ride with plenty to talk about. I ordered a pair of replacement tail lamps for my son's truck Yesterday was his birthday. I'm not even thinking about checking tracking. I want it to get here!!

Re: My Facetruck thread.

I don't have PPP's (pooping paper problems) since I just store it in the water closet. I don't have no truck problems except weather to work on it since I got shop problems (not having one is a problem right?) I ate leftover Prime Rib so I don't got pics of my dinner. I know my keys are in my pocket. I don't got hat problems since I wear a bandana headband and sometimes that's been a problem, not for me but for other people. Like the bouncer who wasn't going to allow me to wear it in a bar one night. I told him I would wait. He asked "for what", for you to go around and gather up hats, hair bows, ribbons and other headgear, you aren't going to discriminate against my headgear are you? It's not a gang sign but if wearing one makes you in a gang I belong to all of them since I color co-ordinate. He told me I could wear it. I said that was too bad since my lawyer and I had never owned a bar.My head seldom gets cold since my hair is down to my belt.

I think I got the same delivery guy as special since my wife ordered m a pressure cooker 12-20 and it just got here today.

BTW I may need a little help guys. I quit buying overpriced razor blades and my beard has turned white. So it's gotten a bit long. Yesterday a young lady (20's) asked me if I was Santa. I told her that she didn't need to hint around that if she wants to sit in my lap and whisper in my ear........ If she takes me up on that, I'M GONNA NED SOME HELP!!!!!

I don't know if this is how it works......

Did I fail Facetruck?

Re: My Facetruck thread.

You can't fail here. We don't want to ruin your self esteem.

I will have leftover Prime Rib tomorrow night. It sure was good tonight.

I wish I still had hair, and never could grow a proper beard.

I do wish you owned a bar.

You forgot to share any gossip, whoops sorry about your self esteem.

You forgot to mention the service, or the lady that was staring at you all through the meal.

I'm not sure you can have a hat day and propane day in conjunction. I will check the codes.

You should consider ordering a summer hat right away.
