Suspension upgrade questions

Just bought a 72 C10 that's been dropped in the front using 2.5 drop spindles and 1 coil has been removed; the back axle has been flipped and frame c notched. The shocks that were installed are crappy Monroe shocks and I would like a better ride. What shocks would be a good choice and should I also buy 2" drop coil springs for the front to replace the stock ones that were cut? The truck doesn't have a front or rear stabilizer bar either so a recommendation for those would also be much appreciated.

I don't expect to go cheap but I also don't want to go big bucks either.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Suspension upgrade questions

Post a pic of the rear of your 71. Is it leaf spring? Not sure what you mean by it being flipped?

Re: Suspension upgrade questions

Ya don't see them often. I have the Belltech street performance shocks on my 66 and they do work well.
