72 burban hatch/tailgate question

New to to the suburbans was trying to figure out what I am missing here

The first pic is missing the latch that grabs the hatch. The is just a cover for the back side of the push button. And the third is missing the loop type catch that would latch to the gate. All of those parts are for sale rite now in the classifieds. I can get some pics in the morning if you would like.

After looking at the third pic if it's offset to the right it's a V shaped piece to help center the hatch as it closes.

Great pics Leon! Any suggestions on adjusting everything? My upper hatch is hard to get it to close and latch correctly without slamming it. I put new rubber seals in which probably don't help, but it doesn't feel like the latch is working correctly. My apologies in advance for the thread hijack, .
