Re: Vintage 4wd Pictures:Other Makes

You know that picture of it I showed I have had for ten or more years. Looks the same, no bumper on front, but most likely was the previous sale. I guess it sat well stored. Looks the same! Travelall love!

Me too! I used to also hear them called school buses, too . I like them through the years. The late-50s/early-60s have a certain funk I love. The mid-60s are sharp with the lower body sides and taller glass, and the late square style is just so brute yet handsome... like a 67-72 GM

Re: Vintage 4wd Pictures:Other Makes

Here are some more pictures of the willys flat fender. This is our ranch/off roading rig so its been well used. It had the same paint scheme in the 70's - 80's but the yellow was dark blue and orange, light blue. I know my mom, her sisters, and most of my cousins learned to drive stick in it. only thing that has changed is wheels and seats.

I love that thing. Looks like a typical all around Jeep from the dry western states. I remember the first time I rolled into Denver from back east and seeing all the chromed & painted up Jeeps, Bronco, and Scouts for the first time (other than magazines)

Re: Vintage 4wd Pictures:Other Makes

I new a guy that lived at Bullhead city years ago, had a international carry all 4x4 like those pictured. He had a big huge AC unit off a old semi diesel truck mounted on the roof

Good for 115* weather river bed wheeling to get to the water

Going down to Gold Beach, Oregon to visit an ol friend, from there I may head east to Hailey Idaho and surprise my sister. I see snow in my future going that route.

Here's an interesting one: (for sale too! Not mine)
Love the wood stove. Looks like you could swivel the driver's seat & stoke the stove while you're driving!

I thought that looked familiar. They could of sold it a year ago it they had used the photos you posted of it. I remember it looking much rougher in the C/L ad.

Im working on the brakes at his place now, its not quite as he told me but Im trying to be patient. The body is fine the work done on the conversion is fine but its been sitting. Im a big boy and take what comes my way but his words ring in my ear,
Honestly I would not hesitate to take it anywhere, everything is new or rebuilt
