Re: Led flashers
There is one flasher for the turn signals to work, and another flasher for the hazard lights.

Re: Led flashers
Yeah i know the other flasher is for hazards. Same ? - do BOTH need to be for leds for either to work ? I'm guessing yes.

Re: Led flashers
If you are using LED light bulbs, you can replace both hazard and turn signal flashers with flashers that are compatible with LED bulbs, in order for both your turn signals to work and for your hazard lights to work. Or, install load resistors into the wiring so you can use standard flashers with your LED bulbs.

Re: Led flashers
Ok now we are on the same page. I had only bought one flasher, like a dummy. Turn signals light but don't flash. Reversed polarity on one flasher and drivers side gets bright when turned on but still doesn't flash. I'll get a second flasher today and go from there.

Re: Led flashers
I now have both flashers made for leds installed. Problem solved, both led turn and hazards work as they should. Found one "bulb holder" in dash that wasn't making good connection. Right turn signal indicator. Sanded prongs that hold bulb and it works although intermittingly. I don't see those bulb holders in parts catalog. Where can i buy a couple ? Tks for all the help. Leds look cool/bright.

Re: Led flashers
I got one at Advance Auto Parts. It was about $8, I remember not liking that price very much. I think they are widely available online too. Here's one at the bottom of this page

Re: Led flashers
If you have a gauge cluster, then your Temp light is probably unused, and you probably have a bulb holder in that position. That is your spare bulb holder.

Re: Led flashers
I've got idiot lights, no gauges. Are the bulb holders available anywhere?

Re: Led flashers
Well since I got one for a high price at Advance Auto Parts then I think they may be available at other car parts stores also. If you don't find it locally, order some on eBay, Amazon, LMC Truck, etc.
