My last YJ the frame was getting in pretty rough shape when I was done with it. About 6 years. Towards the end I had to keep patching the frame and eventually I deemed it unsafe and sold it as a parts Jeep. The 4.0 and the 5spd still worked great. I still look for CJs or YJs for sale. It's crazy how much people ask for them these days.

It will be interesting to see if these things sell in the US. I'm on the fence about them, what good is a rig you can't drive on the street? If you had a lot of property, would you buy one of these over a side by side?
I was in Montana a few years back and had a guy on an ATV pull up next to me at a traffic light! So in some states, you probably can drive them on the road legally... Will someone figure out a loophole to make these street legal and offer a kit?? Only time will tell! |
