Shoulder belt bolt

I am looking for a measurement for the bolt holes for shoulder belt. Mine were covered and painted over. Don’t want to sand the whole corner if possible.thanks

Re: Shoulder belt bolt

They take a 7/16-20 bolt.

Re: Shoulder belt bolt

They're usually found with a plastic plug that is easily removed. If you can't see the thing through the paint or are otherwise not able to feel the spot, I'd start to wonder how they were "covered and painted over" and whether they're still usable.

In this pic, the tape is level with the top frame of the back window. It's a rough measurement. The anchor point is basically in the middle of the panel between the rear window and the seal for the door.

Re: Shoulder belt bolt

Tough measurement to get as everything is curved on the roof.

Re: Shoulder belt bolt

If the holes were bondoed then a small diameter magnet would work.
