Truck Legends Poker

A box showed upon the porch today with a deck of playing cards in it. The cards have Chevy trucks on them! Imagine that. Pretty cool.

Re: Truck Legends Poker

I'll wait until 5 PM for my consolation snort of Jack. I had a Vega panel wagon that had to be registered with commercial plates. Now that should have been the picture on the Joker card!

I kid you not! I had to go to a weigh station and get the weight so that the DMV could set the price on the commercial plates. Picture a little candy ass "station wagon" behind a semi, crossing the scales. I bought it because it had a storage compartment behind the front seat instead of a back seat. I used to do mobile service and repair, so that worked OK. I used to buy fix and sell those things. If I had known in advance, I would have peeled the quarter glass windows out of one of the wagons I had, and saved myself some time and money...and then put the panels back in. I'm an anarchist, like that.

Mine got here today, still think the Joker should be a 2020 HD, saw the new 2019 4500 HD, might trade in the 2014 and get one of these and put a RV body on it to haul my Big trailer

I'm a second shift legend, too. Had my box waiting for me when I got home. It's never a surprise when something comes. I get to read about it first

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Truck Legends Poker

still not impressed with lack of 60-66 and 67-72..

but I guess the '69 on the joker is a nod to the 67-72 era..

Re: Truck Legends Poker

There is a '69 Joker, too? Funny how some see the El Camino joker as an appropriate fit for what some don't consider a truck, but see a '69 as joker to be a nod to what could be said to be GM's greatest truck. Maybe Chevy intended a yin yang theme for jokers

I'm haven't opened any of my "Legends" merch. Just stashing these boxes away for a later date as a complete unopened set as a collectible. Who knows, maybe I can get a lot of money in 100 years! It's just the collect-o-maniac in me. It's nothing I need and I have plenty of vintage collectibles displayed as it is.

I'm surprised GM didn't make a stink like this over the GMC, first and greatest GM Truck, 100th. Chevys are just rebadged GMCs

Re: Truck Legends Poker

y'all welcome to use my picture in your ebay ads

won't be worth anything near the burden of storage for me 20 years from now

I'll throw mine in the games cabinet and enjoy them..

my kids will be busy enough figuring out how to sell all my guns and trucks when I'm gone

Re: Truck Legends Poker

Boozores and trucks? That probably won't end well. One of my sons and I went to the gun range to kill some paper a few weeks ago. We stopped for steaks and potatoes and some beer on the way home. We both got to laughing about guns and alcohol, as both were in the trunk. What could go wrong!?

There's a line in this song that influenced my life at 13. You'll know it when you listen. It's in the 3rd verse. No mention of whiskey and I don't need a flute
