Re: 1971 Blazer w/ factory pop up camper

I look now and them on craigs list for them, usually I see them on the left coast. There was a pop up for the newer blazers for sale in our area but I don't think they will fit plus I like the simple look of the old pop ups.

Re: 1971 Blazer w/ factory pop up camper

here is one I seen recently it is a 1972 blazer. It looks to be a mid 70's four wheel camper. The camper and blazer are in rough condition and blazer is kinda stationary but is used for snow removal.

I've seen a few of these now and they look real Fun. I've seen them for sale usually in the 4-500 dollar range. New ones are expensive as hell. Gary 70 yours look like it's in perfect shape blazer and camper both. It's rare to see them both good at the same time.

Re: 1971 Blazer w/ factory pop up camper

"and she asked why" that's great.Either she was worried you were going to come back and steal it or she thinks why would you want a picture of that fugly thing. I own a chalet and it currently falls into the later category. My wife asked me to put it on the side of the garage so she doesn't have to look at it.

Joe, do you think the roof is a cut up hardtop or a halftop

Re: 1971 Blazer w/ factory pop up camper

As far as my blazer goes,it did have the whole double wall top cut so it fits with the camper,i know the mid 70s ones are different like the darker blue one I posted pics of.

Re: 1971 Blazer w/ factory pop up camper

This 71 has the hardtop cut for the camper. I used to work with the guy that owns it. It's in pretty good shape minus the usual rust. It has a 396 in it.

There was a "factory camper" ,but it was a proto type only. Read article.

Seen this nice Blazer when I was cutting across a side street in north Denver. I thought the Blazer with a camper was really cool.
