Kane, what is the finish on the exhaust? It is eye catching.
I used bbq grill paint from Home Depot.

Looks like some exotic finish. I was looking for a way to do mine.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Progress at a stand still due to lightening. I will get this cab primed today so I can start final fitting before taking apart for paint.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Went another round on the door and extremely pleased with it. Firewall finally in first prime. Need to sharpen up some lines and hit some pin holes but overall pleased.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Thanks fellows. Went another round on the drivers door last night and the rest of the bed and tailgate and all in final prime awaiting wet sanding. I really need to get that cab up to par.

Ordered a new 80 gallon 2stage compressor yesterday so I can retire my current 10yr old model. Bad part is it won't arrive for 2 weeks so I've already missed my August paint deadline

Re: 69 Olive Verde

All I can taste is chalky sanding dust. 8 hrs of straight sanding and an entire gallon of mud gone.

Really liking the dark wheel Look. Just looks like it's ready for fuel to go destroy some tires.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Progress has slowed this week on the truck but for good cause. Working on getting new compressor setup and scored 3k sq ft of insulation for my new building for free.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Still making head way. Trying to get this hood to line up with the cowl panel which is badly deformed and the hood is goofy. The hood was over a 1/2" taller than the cowl in the middle when I started, but I'm getting there.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Build is looking great. I see lots of dollar signs, especially with that rolling chassis.
