Administrators: I'm Trying to Join - What am I Doing Wrong???

Hello all. As you can see from my few posts, I'm a new forum member. I signed up in December and received an email, advising that I need to complete my registration by contacting an administrator. I was provided a link to do so. I did so in December but never got a reply. Hmmm. I again tried to contact an administrator in May when I wanted to post some "take off" items I want to sell. So far, it looks as though my email fell into that same black hole. I'm an active member of a Corvette Forum that presents the same exact way as this forum looks but clearly, something is different in the way this one works.

Currently, it seems I am able to post on this board but unable to post on the "FOR SALE/WANTED" board. If I hafta pay a fee to join that part of the forum, I'm sure I'd do it - just need to get to that step.

Any advice would be appreciated.
