thank you all for the kind words! I hope to get some polishing done this weekend. I also have a cheap rack ordered to help make steering it a little easier, even if it's only in and out of the garage...

got the hood sand blasted. still unsure if I'll use it, it has a bad dent on the drivers side and my dent removal skills aren't very good.

If you don't own one now is the time to score a stud welder and a slide hammer, that dent is no match for technology.
You can get it to within the thickness of a dime and body filler will take care of the rest.
