86 Chevy Bench Seat in a 68

So I was going to re-do my original seat but it needs foam, the special cover for the Golden Anniversary edition and a spring replaced. With multiple projects being completed funds are tight and I ran across a very nice original 86 light tan bench seat that's uber-comfy in great shape for $75.

Has anyone swapped in a bench from this year and do you have pics of the brackets fabbed for same? It's a stop-gap until I can afford the largess of re-doing my original but once again-damn, it's comfortable!

Thanks for the help. Dave.

The PO had installed a rear seat from a Yukon Denali in my truck. It was the third thing to go....

Totally different scenario--the seat I have when set in the interior looks good and the slider mechanism actually work as well..... I just have limited time and money right now and want to get the truck on the road for the time being.

I wasn't criticizing your choice, only showing you what that seat looked like in the truck. It was comfortable but not the look I wanted. My point was, it fit the existing mounting holes perfectly and so did all three sets of seatbelts.

Thanks guys. When I get back I will have a closer look at it and the mounting and snap some pics of the install for posterity....
