Cross Over steering

Looking for anyone who can help me w the proper measurments for cross over steering on a Dana 60 thats going under a 68 4 wheel drive GMC. Need the lengh of the cross over bar? Whats needed and how do I measure. Thanks for the help.

I have it done. Using a tie rod link. I can get you some pictures and measurements if you need them. Just let me know what ones

to many variables to just give you a number.

put your wheels straight, the steering box straight measure hole to hole.

Thanks. I found an easy way to do the measuring. U take your pitman arm and push it all the way to the right and then turn your tires all the way to the right and you take a measurment from hole on pitman arm to hole on your upper steering arm located on passenger side of truck. Then you repeat the same process to the left and take a measurment. The 2 measurments will be slightly different. Once you have the 2 measurments split the difference and that is the length from center hole to center hole. Also take into cosideration of the Heim-joints. This plays a big role in the length of the cross over BAR!!
