Talking Spring Cleaning

I finally got the blazer out of the barn! It was filthy---a cat had been living in it all winter ( I was too lazy to put the top back on ). I washed it and two of the other trucks.
I bought the blazer in 1991 and drove it to Alaska. I had a summer job in Kenai and the blazer was perfect for exploring. I still haven't registered it in New Mexico, but I drive it in the summer on the country roads.
It has the usual rust spots--someday I will restore it, but I've got a few other projects in front of it.
I added some of the stable mates.

Re: Spring Cleaning

I envy your collection! In the one pic I see a white 71/72 with a newer ranch hand style wrap around grillguard. Is it from a 88-01 chevy?

Re: Spring Cleaning

Thanks Critter and Big J,
The grill guard is a ranch hand grill for a 99 ford. A friend of mine fabbed up the bumper. The grill guard sets a little close on both sides of the fender, but I am happy with the overall look. The winch is on a reciever hitch.

Looks like a nice collection, but it's not quite spring yet. I was snowing here yesterday!

Re: Spring Cleaning

I love the 'old school' 5 gallon jerry can on the back rack. It reminded me of my uncles 71 blazer. He had the swing away tire carrier with the gas can.

I rode in it when I was about 8 and I fell in love with that truck, and the 67-72 has been my favorite body style since.

That's a mighty fine stable. Been thinking about two-toning mine and you're adding to the enthusiasm. Thx for sharing.
