Thank you! I'm looking forward to it. The 'relay mod' is a way of wiring your headlights directly to the battery using relays, instead of through the factory dash switch. Allows brighter headlights and keeps the high current out of the cab...

If you want even more light from those new housings, you could always throw a plug and play HID kit in, they are about $35 shipped on ebay. Truck looks great.

Thanks! I kinda like that idea, but I also kinda hate the guy in oncoming traffic with the blinding HIDs, so I may just go with a brighter bulb when these are spent...

Fairly often- it has definitely done its part in helping us move to the new house. With the new baby, there's not enough seat belts, so that needs to be remedied before GoodGuys...

Well, since you asked... While accumulating parts for the LQ4, I started to realize that the brakes/suspension on this truck are not up to the task of handling a 400+hp engine, so I justified spending some money on a C5 big brake kit and Porterbuilt 1" forward control arms for the front. I will likely upgrade to CaptainFab's D52 rear discs in the process, with a few more things to come as well. Pics soon!

We were planning on doing CTC this year, but I don't think it's gonna happen, so we will more than likely hit GoodGuys Lonestar. Thinking I may try to have the suspension/brakes re-done by then- would make the drive much more pleasurable- we'll see how it goes...

Me too! I can post pics of tracking numbers

Sticking with the coils for now, since I'm not ready to bite the bullet on an air management system. Nice thing is, if I ever do decide to 'bag it, I just have to remove the spring 'puck' from the arms and bolt 'em in. I'm looking forward to the better driveability with the 1" forward arms and Corvette/Kore3/CaptainFab brakes- I also have a PB sway bar coming for the front and a Z28 bar I may try to fit out back. Rounding up all the little parts (master cyl, rotors, pads, etc) I need to complete, then it's on

Got a big box full o' goodies from Tobin at Kore3 including billet 5x5 hubs, custom machined C5 rotors, caliper/spindle adapter brackets, abutment brackets, and necessary hardware. The machined hubs are a work of art! Hope to be mocking up some 13" C5 brakes in the very near future

Yeah, that's kinda what's driving this round of mods- the thought of the 6.0 in this truck with the current brakes/suspension is honestly a little scary. It works fine right now for cruising around, but I wanna drive!
