Restore seat finish?

hey guys. I just picked up a nice JY seat for my truck, but it's faded pretty bad. It's turning purple, and I have a blue interior. What's the best way I can make it blue again?

Thanks

Re: Restore seat finish?

if it is a vinyl seat it could b dyed

i'd go to the local autopaint supplier and get the cleaner prep solvent an adhesion promoter and the color of choice

ask the counter person for his best advise on products to use

Re: Restore seat finish?

Could you pick up a new cover? I'd worry about the dye staining anything it would touch.
