Project Nailhead - 1950 GMC 100

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around here for a while. I bought my truck online from a guy way, way up north in the UP, almost to Canada. I bought in June - and I just got it delivered today. The shipper was cheap, $350, but he was slooooow!!! But, he picked up a motor along the way for only another $50. So, all in, shipping was only $400.

The plan is still being formed, but this is what I'm thinking at the moment:
401 Buick Nailhead
T56 or ZF trans, or C5 Corvette transaxle
Corvette C4 front suspension
Corvette C4 or C5 rear suspension (C5 is I go the transaxle route)
move the tank under the bed
fix the rust
redo the interior
add AC
drive the hell out of it!

Here are a couple pics as it came of the trailer today. A big thanks to my sis for going over to my house to take care of this today while I'm spending the day in airports!

I've got some stuff to finish before I can actually start on the project, but I'm so excited to finally get the truck that I had to start my build thread!!!

The nailhead is going to look so cool in that truck. Good luck with your build.
