Re: Reversed fenders

beautiful truck (frome the cab forward) It's just doesn't look right to me. He also raised the bed to high for my taste. You know that everywhere he goes someones gotta tell him he put the fenders on backwards. That would just get old after a while. He's thinking outside the box though.

Re: Reversed fenders

It looks like he die it to make the bed match the wheel base of the frame he put the truck on.
From the way it sits I'd almost bet it is sitting on a Chevelle style frame.

Nice looking worksmanship at least in the photos but it doesn't spin my wheels.

Re: Reversed fenders

Maybe a long bed frame with at short bed on it?

Flip the fenders to center the wheels.

But I'm the same way, not what I like.

Re: Reversed fenders

hey sneaky i was out there at the show. didnt go back out thereon sunday since it was so windy. i parked next to that guy for a little bit. i tried to talk to him a few times and immy opinion kind of a jerk. he had the guy that built that truck turn them around because he shortened the bed. they did a good job craftsmenship wise just not very asthetic in my opinion. he also just sat in the truck the whole day haha. the part that i liked about the truck was actually under it he had trailing arms that appeared to be off a 67-72 chevy.

Re: Reversed fenders

I have seen a lot of "custom" stuff. In my opinion (and mine only) I feel that sometimes a true custom should not make you wonder did they do that because of a problem (such as chassis or bed being too short, frame kick up too high, and fenders hanging off the rear). A true custom should flow. Make you think hey, "is that?" or "how'd they get this to fit with that" and be subtle enough that you have to take a 2nd look...Just to make sure you saw correctly. Anyone can take something and stick it on something else and call it a custom. In my opinion, that truck has poor planning all over it. And did a half assed job to cover it up.

Let the flames begin

Re: Reversed fenders

Do not like.
Although, with some different wheels and the fenders put on correctly, it would be a nice truck.

Re: Reversed fenders

An interesting idea that IME would've looked tons better by removing the running board flare from the 'back' of the new rear fender and adding one to the new 'front' side. As is, to my eye the visual symmetry is off.
