My 72 K5 does not have seatbelts, it is medium red, what is the best way to get seatbelts cheap? I have another truck that has red belts but the mounting looks different-please help

The drivers side is the same as a pickup. The inside belt on the passengers side is same as pickup. The retracting passenger belt is different and it mounts to the "step" instead of to the floor. You'll have to find somebody with that one for sale. I found a couple when I was looking for a replacement a couple of years ago. Put a post on the parts board.

I have a black one. I suppose you could swap the belts and paint it?

Off-white. Just get the black one from Jeff and score a set of black belts from a pick-em-up truck. That's what I did in my Jimmy. The original interior was Dark Saddle and I swithched to black about 1989. I used Camaro rear seat belts for a long time without retractors, but I got tired of the belt always falling out the door.

You can use vinyl die, comes in a spray can, to color your doorskins, consul, dashpad, visors to make them all the same color. I even did my seat belts with it.
