Love this thread. What dimensions should the base of the shell be for a short and wide bed (like Outkasts?) Keeping my eyes open locally for an old aluminum shell for my 80 SWB.

I was fortunate enough to buy mine from someone that had it on an 80 something short bed K10 so, I knew it fit. I will measure it tonight and post up the dimensions.

My shell is 78 3/4 long, front to back not counting the little lip in the front and 72 3/4 wide.
