Question More turn signal problems

Well, i fixed my non-working passenger side turn signal (the flasher was bad). Anyway, i have a '72 so the front marker lights are located in the front bumper. The light wouldn't work at all, if the turn signal was on, or if all of the lights were on. I traced it, and found the problem to be at the round rubber/plastic connecter about 6" up the wires from the marker light. So, i took it off and replaced it with 2 posi-lock connecters. I connected the 14ga. brown wire coming from the truck to the 12ga. grey wire coming from the lamp. I connected the 14ga. blue wire coming from the truck, to the 12ga. purple wire coming from the lamp. Did i connect these right? It seems that the light is "reversed". When i turn on the lights, the passenger side is much brighter then the driver's side, and you can't see the turn signal blinking when i turn it on with the lights already on. It seems that the 2 filimantes within the bulb are reversed somehow. Should i just switch the wires or ????

If the bulb is in the socket correctly then I would just switch the wires.

May those who love us, love us, any of those who do not love us, may God turn their hearts.
And if God is unable to turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping.

A man who works with his hands is a laborer; a man who works with his hands and his brain is a craftsman; but a man who works with his hands and his brain and his heart is an artist.
