help with postin my pics

i have pics i would like to post ,but when i try it tells me that my file is too big! how do i make them smaller? never had this problem before!

If it's from a digital camera it should have some software which will let you re-size. Go with a width of 500 pixels or 600 pixels.

You'll need some kind of software which will let you open and re-size. I use Photoshop for my stuff. I know you can download a trial version here

There might be some free software programs if you do a search under google.com

Someone told me to just use microsoft paint to resize them. Open the pic in paint. then go to IMAGE>SKETCH/SKEW or something like that and you can make it smaller by changing the percent of the picture it is. I use it, then save the pic under like .02156464 and when I'm done I delete it. If you cant find it, click search and type in Microsoft paint or something. Dang I'm tired. Sorry.
