Rubber vs Poly bushings
Did the search function get deleted? I logged in and I couldn't search. Anyway, I got a 55 3100 with a TCI IFS. I bought the kit 12 years ago and it has yet to reach the road. In the meantime the rubber bushings in the control arms have continued to crack apart. So, before the truck sees the road I've decided to replace the bushings. Any input would be appreciated.

Rubber= softer ride and handling, and less road noise/vibration transfer.
Poly= firmer ride, sharper handling and more noise/vibration. Personally I like poly in the suspension and rubber for engine and trans mounts.

My vote is for rubber
the poly was to harsh/noisy

If you are going to drive it for more than 10 years "think" about poly, if not I would stay with rubber
