9/16" Lower Control Arm U-Bolts
Will a 9/16" lower control arm u-bolt fit on a 67-72 without modifying (beating/massaging) the crossmember? I have the control arms off and was going to drill the holes out but don't want to do this if I need to "dimple" the crossmember to get the u-bolts on like is needed on a 60-66. Thanks.

They should fall right in. Might have to make the holes a bit bigger, but no reason they won't fit. I changed out the 1/2" U-bolts in my 1972 C15 with 9/16" U-bolts, and they went right in with no mods.

Drill the holes out to 9/16 and they fit right in .
