Re: Chopped 55 on EBAY
I normally like a chop top, but this seems too much for me. Almost out of proportion. There is a home for every truck.I wonder how much it cost to just do body work and paint? Seems like more then the sales price

Re: Chopped 55 on EBAY
I like it, will take a good retro custom over rat rod any day. Good theme followed through out. mdpaulson, the reason the chop looks odd is that they usually pancake the hood, taking more out of the front so it does not look so nose heavy.

Re: Chopped 55 on EBAY
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. To me, Task Force trucks have the best lines of any vehicle EVER made, and most body mods only take away, they rarely add. I can always appreciate the time and skill required to do these mods, but I just wish they would have chosen something else to showcase their skills.

Re: Chopped 55 on EBAY
We all know about opinions....... I think the TF trucks ALWAYS had a cab that was too high, proportionally, for the bed height and when you fix that, the hood takes on a bulbous look. When you fix that you still have to contend with the belt line that mysteriously drops 4 inches from the cab to the rear fenders. But what would I know? My truck looks like a Studebaker, I've been told. Could be a complement? from folks who would never touch the design or wisdom of the original look. Never been that guy although the subject truck has a theme that's too far for me to reach.
