99 Suburban 2WD 1500 series - SQUEAKS

Not applying the brakes just turning corners or dips on the highway....it squeaks! For sure from the passenger side.

Any ideas what it could be? Can someone point out all the grease fitting locations? I gotta grease gun.

Also....could it be suspension parts (shocks/struts springs)

Thanks guys.

Yes mostly likely the lower ball joints. The zerk fitting should be on the back side of the ball joint pointing to the rear of the truck. With grease and dirt buildup it can be difficult to find.

The front end should have 11 grease zerks:

1. Pass Upper Ball Joint
2. Pass Lower Ball Joint
3. Pass Outer Tie Rod
4. Pass Inner Tie Rod
5. Idler Arm to Center Link
6. Idler Arm Bracket (next to lower radiator hose)
7. Pitman Arm to Center Link
8. Driver Inner Tie Rod
9. Driver Outer Tie Rod
10. Driver Lower Ball Joint
11. Driver Upper Ball Joint

Also check the drive shaft U-Joints, if they have been replaced, they may have grease fittings.
