Re: WTB trailblazer ss exhaust manifolds

Go to TBSS owners forum. Register, and post a wtb on their site. Did same thing. First day I posted had several offers. Seems, that is the first upgrade the trailblazer ss guys/gals do..headers. Also it us a very informative site for LS swaps and such. They have the computer stuff down to a science. Very nice people there.

FYI

The part numbers for the manifolds are:

12600527 Right Exhaust Manifold (about $50 on GMPartsDirect.com)
12600526 Left Exhaust Manifold (discontinued per GMPartsDirect.com)

12597916 Right Heat Shield
12597917 Left Heat Shield

just curious, why do you want trailblazer ss manifolds vs. headers? reason I'm asking is I have a complete trailblazer ss wrecked that I'm about to swap the motor out into my truck.

Re: WTB trailblazer ss exhaust manifolds

A lot of guys do it because they fit well in the frame on a swapped truck. It is also simple and effective. Some don't like the hassle of headers and the potential for them to leak at the flange and having to retighten hardware...
