I think you may have paid too much. Any rust in the cab corners or floors? But if you just fix it to your liking/budget and just drive it, it's not a big deal. They may be worth more in Montana than Arkansas

That did include shipping to vegas.. i knew it was a little pricey but my reasoning is that nothings been tampered with. There is rust but not that bad.. i just have a problem and want a farm of a.d.'s..

May be a little too much, but with shipping included I'm sure it wasn't too bad of a deal. What all do you have in store for it?

I think you did fine. I searched for 2 months before settling on a 49 for 2800 plus 300 to tow it. Turned out the cab and bed were rotten. Maybe I could have done better but shifting from searching to working needs to start sooner than later.

Really not a terrible price, I'd love to have that one, it's got the look.

Re: 4th ad but I think I might have over payed..what do u think?

Depends on the area really. It's a $1000 project in my area maybe $1500. $3500usd would be $4g CAD & around here it'd never sell for that unless a driver. The whole patina or buying running rusty trucks seems to be big in the States, but luckily not up here. Redo the brakes, tires, wiring, get it reliably running & you might make $ on it in your area. Hard to say as it'd be tight if all done with new stuff & including labour time. Looks like a good project, so enjoy it.

Pricing is all over the place here. Some are reasonable and some are crazy money. The best advice is you own it don't look back. If you purchased it to flip it then chalk it up to education costs.

I keep and eye on CL for ADs and see fewer and fewer advertised. It may be a little high but if it's solid and you don't want to wait till another one comes up and don't want to spend all your time driving all over the country side looking at them, then that worth some $$$ right there.

Seems like stuff comes and goes on CL. There will be piles of 'em, then only a few. One part of the country will have a bunch then it will dry up. At least that's what it seems like to me.

Re: 4th ad but I think I might have over payed..what do u think?

have you bought and "flipped" a vehicle before ? ive never done it, but ive thought on several occasions when I see a good deal on a desirable vehicle that it could be an easy way to make a buck. Id say the main reason I never did a flip is the whole shady gray area of buying a vehicle and "floating" the title to the next buyer. of course the right way to do it is to become a dealer and whatever goes into forming a business reselling used vehicles.
I have no experience in this subject, but if your goal was to buy it and flip it, I wouldn't put $$ into it. just take a lot of good pics and try to sell it for 4,000-4,500 on CL and ebay.

on the other hand, if you have the $ to risk, maybe you could put $ into it for a bigger profit. would only make sense if youre capable of doing the work yourself . the guys on Wheeler Dealers makes it look easy LOL
