Cool burb found right down the road

I've been looking for a solid original burb all over the country and a friend told me about one 50 miles from here. Rear ac caught on fire so it's gonna need most interior panels but don't they all plus rust repair ??? This is the cleanest body I've ever found.. 52,000 actual miles
Factory ac, tachometer, bucket seats, auto etc etc..it's loaded

Congratulations on a great find! Is the steering wheel as melted as it looks?

Re: Cool burb found right down the road

Yes ....headliner is burned out of it also as well tops of the seats.Zero rust truck and everyone I've seen needs interior anyway so I'll gut it and get it to the blaster next week and get it in epoxy primer.

I'll media the burned area, hit it with some good epoxy primer, repaint the roof and 1/4,
New glass and restore the interior.....loose the ugly rear bumper lol.
Then a 2.5 inch soft ride and my spare 15x8 cucv wheels and dog dish caps.

Good find, I like it when a sad truck like this one is going to a good home.

Re: Cool burb found right down the road

Great buy!

Suburbans look great in gold

I’d be interested in seeing how the gold interior looks or what’s left of it at least.

I’ve been pricing weather stripping and it is sure is pricey

Re: Cool burb found right down the road

That last photo sure shows what a great job your painter did with the paint repair. Nice!
