1989 GMC 1500 parts truck

I purchased this truck on EBay hoping I could throw some tin on it and drive it while my project was getting finished (87 Chevy 4x4 swb) I was finally able to go and bring it home over the weekend. when I got it here I started a little service on it and found out that the head gaskets were blown and the engine seized, its not worth it to me to put all that work into my saturday garbage hauler, so its going to the crusher, but first I thought Id offer it up to part out, maybe it might help someone and help me cut my losses, so here it is. It has power window that work.
It has a good tilt steering wheel 100.00 obo
Windshield 50.00 if I can get it out without breaking it
Tailgate is not bad 50.00
it has the smaller beauty rings on it
Its a complete truck so if there is something you need let me know there are too many parts to list here. all prices are neg. and plus shipping

How do the seat belt winder things look, i.e. the metal that the bolt goes thru to secure them to the floor, is the plastic faded and what shape are the belts in. Also what kind of shape are the plastic covers that cover the back pillars and the long piece that runs the length of the cab behind the seat. Pictures would be great, thanks.

the seat belts are red and seem to be in great shape for the year, not faded, and they all work, I would use them
as for the pillar trim peice, there was a fire in the box which broke the rear window and melted the back of the seat, and the trim received warpage. and thus unusable. Ill sell the belts for 20.00 + shipping....OBO

I was told by the prev. owner that the AC worked before the accident, I looked at the compressor and it looks good and seems to be holding a charge.
the trim you asked about is in good shape, nothing broken, l would use it in my truck. how about 30.00 for the compressor and 10.00 for the trim,+ shipping OBO, thanks Randy

I dont know what the shipping might be, I will find out, I know it will be less if you dont need the steering wheel, let me know. I will do my best to find out the price of shipping, and get back to you as soon as possible.

Re: 1989 GMC 1500 parts truck

Thanks for taking the pics, I also wanted to know what the metal bracket that secures it to the floor looks like, just on the drivers side. (see my 1st pic) The drivers side would be the only one I want, to cut down shipping cost, and I would not need the buckle just the belt and winding mechanism. Also is the heater core cover in good shape, no cracks. See my 2nd pic if you do take it out, the 2 screws on the left of the pic are against the firewall. Also would like the rubber stop on the inside and bottom of the passenger door, see my 3rd pic, mine is missing. Lastly, the price of those 3 things shipped to 44270 Rittman, Ohio. Thanks.

I took more pictures for you , mine doesnt look much better than yours, the paint is peeling and the rust has started on the metal bracket.
as for the heater core housing it is cracked......
I do have the rubber stops, let me know if you would like any of it
thanks for your interest, Randy

Re: 1989 GMC 1500 parts truck

I'll take both rubber stops, if you have them. If the other guy doesnt want the grey trim piece thats around the cluster and heater controls, I'll take it as well. Also I will take the the switch that the passenger door closes on to shut off the interior lights. The 2 bolts that hold the dash down, there really easy to get, just look above each of the kick panels near the dash and you'll see the 15mm bolt heads. The bolts are about 2 inches long. Finally, the plastic cover thats by the coolant resevoir, should be held on by 3 nuts or plastic pieces with nuts in them, I will take them as well. If the guy does want the plastic trim, and you dont want to waste your time with the few small items I want, I'll understand. Let me know, thanks.
