Correct temp sender PN

I have used the temp sender from Auto Zone for $8 and the guage moves, but it moves too far. Its the wrong resistance or something.

I remember seeing the correct sender part number out here but cant seem to find it now.. Does anyone have it handy?

Thanks!

For what it's worth, you can also purchase a correctly calibrated aftermarket unit at http://www.lectriclimited.com/electrical_devices.htm

I purchased their unit and it works perfectly with factory gauges.

X2

The senders from Lectric Limited fixd the gauges on both my 64 C10 and my 69 Chevelle.

Re: Correct temp sender PN

Lately I am seeing people on ebay buying these for more than $70.. Are the correct ones that hard to find?

I found this one today. I found the part number from Rock Auto.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Airtex-1T105...1fc203&vxp=mtr

Any opinion on this option?

Re: Correct temp sender PN

I used the WT203 for the light. This may be the correct one for the gauge. BWD - Coolant Temperature Sender Part # WT203P.
